This was the 4th Annual Long Road Home Re-enactment that took place on the weekend of April 11-13, 2014. This year the Appomattox United Daughters  of the Confederacy hosted a Fashion Show and Tea on Saturday. Appomattox UDC members and CofC members along with re-enactor  civillians in period dress participated in the show. Many different types of period dresses were shown for women and children, including basic day wear to the Scarlett O'Hara green velvet curtain dress. After the fashion show the Appomattox Chapter UDC ladies entertained guests with a lovely table of refreshments that included punch and cookies.
