What a great weekend! This year the Appomattox UDC and the Appomattox Historical Society combined to have the first annual Appomattox History Weekend. A living history was held at Clover Hill Village on Saturday April 4 and the 143rd Annual Confederate Memorial Service held on Sunday afernoon April 5 at 2PM. The weather was the best we have had in recent memory for the Memorial Service, and the attendance was by far the best in years. We want to thank all who took part in this years activities, guest speaker Scott Frantel, members of  Appomattox UDC, Appomattox Historical Society, Members Appomattox CH, Amherst, Campbell, Bedford, Lynchburg, Charlotte CH and Latane' SCV camps and H.A. Carrington Chapter,UDC, General Long Chapter,  Order of the Confederate Rose.  We also thank Lee and his Lieutenants for their participation in all the events.

We now have available slideshows for both of these programs
They are available for $7 each program or both days for $12. including S&H. contact  carolyne@appomattoxudc.com  to order.
